Your free trial

Every new family starts with a 7-day free trial of Saucery Pass -- every feature unlocked, no card required. When the trial ends, you'll move to the Free plan unless you subscribe.

Upgrading to Saucery Pass

You can subscribe whichever way suits your device, and Saucery Pass is available monthly or yearly:

  • iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > Subscription, tap Subscribe, and complete the purchase through the App Store (billed via your Apple ID).
  • Android: Go to Settings > Subscription, tap Subscribe, and complete the purchase through Google Play (billed via your Google account).
  • Web: Subscribe at thesaucery.nz, billed by card through Stripe.

It doesn't matter which one you choose -- Saucery Pass applies to your whole family, so everyone in the family gets Saucery Pass features.

Prices and currency

The pricing page on thesaucery.nz shows prices in your currency: New Zealand, Australian, US or Canadian dollars, British pounds or euros. It works this out from the country your internet connection is in, and shows New Zealand dollars when it can't tell or when your country uses a different currency. Use the Currency buttons above the prices to pick another one, and the page remembers it while you browse.

The App Store and Google Play charge the listed price in your own currency, and Settings > Subscription in the app shows that price under the subscribe button. A card subscription on the web is billed in New Zealand dollars for now, and your account page shows the currency and the amount before you pay. New Zealand prices include GST.

Managing your subscription

Manage or cancel from wherever you subscribed:

  • App Store (iPhone/iPad): Settings > your name > Subscriptions > The Saucery.
  • Google Play (Android): Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > The Saucery.
  • Web / Stripe: Open the billing portal from Settings > Subscription (or at thesaucery.nz) to update your card or cancel.

If you cancel, you'll keep Saucery Pass features until the end of your current billing period.
